last night i shot elkland for sound affects at the grove in anaheim. great great place to shoot. i would love to shoot there again. i had the nice big photo pit all to myself...which i ran back and forth in...and almost tripped and fell on my face. ha ha.

it was a learning experience! each song i used a different focusing setting. i think i might like single area - or is it closest subject? perhaps its pointless to experiment when you dont remember what setting you use?

anyhow, i shot everything at iso 1600 at an f/3.

the boys gave a very energetic performance and the crowd loved them. they were opening for erasure. i stuck around for most of the erasure set and it was - spectacular. what a set up - the set was beautiful, i wish i could show you photos! andy in angel wings, singing in a forrest among faeries....
