hey everyone - yay photos to add. today i did a shoot with a lovely musician named arrica rose. the entire shoot was done on melrose (and its surrounding streets) using natural daylight and shadows. a few of the shots were using flash, but most were not. these were ofcourse shot with the d70. shooting arrica was great because she is into the spontaneous little planning shooting style i prefer. the most interesting of the photos - i think are the ones using the wall at fairfax high. the colors are very blown out and just...odd. there
are also more traditional head shot type photos which arrica looks lovely in. im really into these photos - i had a lot of fun with the colors...her red shirt really helped it all pop. am i over black and white? eek! anyhow, it was time to start a new people gallery, so the photos are located in the people three gallery, which is located here, so enjoy! oh - there are also 18 photos cause i couldnt bloody narrow them down. arricas getting 180...i had to find the handful i liked the best, altho i loved them all. the shots against the window are my favorite, however. but i love the red shirt on grey backgrounds. ahhh....i love shooting.
if anyone needs a photog i am fully for hire all through the holidays!!! drop me a line at erin@erinrussell.com and we can work something out :] i need a job. hey!!!
